Un-slicing from past saved sliced file

I have a slight change to make on a exported sliced file.     I know how to un-slice when it is still up and not discarded yet, but how can I do that from the file made in the past.    It opens up in slicer but the controls are missing.     Any suggestions?     Thanks Jay

A *.gcode file created in the past cannot be edited (cut, etc.) by reasonable means.

That is what I thought, I just have multiple parts with modifiers and just need to add supports on one small item.    I was hoping!

Thanks Jay

Get in the habit of saving project files (File->Save Project) -- they'll have a .3mf suffix.  You can go back and open them (File->Open Project) whenever you want.  The project files will not only contain your model(s), but all the settings you had when you saved it.

I just did that and you are right.   I will get in the habit.

Thanks Jay
