Troubles navigating when using multiple print beds

The recently introduced multiple print-beds feature is mostly great. Navigating (spinning the view around) is painful though. The "world" always seems to believe bed 1 is the origin, so when I'm looking at bed 6 and want to spin around to look at it from the other side, the rotation (whether mouse or space-mouse) happens around a distant point, so the rotation also causes a huge translation (within the viewport) taking the model out of view.

Is there a way to change the viewport origin to be the centre of the currently selected print bed? (e.g. I believe Blender uses '.' on the numeric keypad to reset its concept of "current point of interest")

No there isn't.  You can however select an Object (or objects)  and then use the shortcut Z to zoom to object.  At that point your view will rotate around that.

Prusa Slicers view controls are the subject of many open github issues on the PS github repo.  You do know you can right click and hold to move around and at that point the centre of the screen becomes the rotate point don't you ?  Its a bit cumbersome compared to Blender but you get used to it.  The Zoom to way is better though to change the focus point to a specific thing.

Ah, that 'z' trick is exactly what I wanted (sorry if my description didn't make that clear!)

I just tried the right-click thing too, which I think I used to know (but had forgotten). Unfortunately as soon as I've done that, my SpaceMouse no longer has any effect.

'z' + SpaceMouse works 100% as I want though, so all solved, thank you.
