Tool travel to avoid certain areas
I was wondering if there is a way to slice the model so the tool never travel along a certain area of the object?
For example, for it to never travel pass the gap in the photo attached.

"avoid crossing perimeters" perhaps is what you are looking for?

No photo attached. But the simple answer is no. There is no method of producing a keep out area.

Glad avoid crossing parameters worked in this case. But it's not a panacea. Most of the time does what it says, sometimes it doesn't. And its not a way to keep travel out of specific designated areas.
