Supports not being created

I'm trying to print an object that will require supports, and what ever combination of options I use, they don't get created, so the print fails.

Shows what I'm seeing in the slicer, with the image showing the layer immediately before the support is required.  The next layer would cover the gap in the ring.

Any suggestions on what to try next ?

Adrian

Best Answer by Lichtjaeger:

The next layer would be a bridge and one of the default settings is "Don't support bridges". Deactivate that option and you should be good to go.

Thanks, looking at the image in Slicer, that looks like it has fixed it, I'll try the print tomorrow and see what happens.
