Strange Top Layers
I have a Voron V0 and I want to use PrusaSlicer. Everything works finde only my toplayers are over extruded. I tried every option, but nothing helped. Whenever I want to print with more then two toplayer, the sclicer automaticly extrude more in this strange patterns (shown in screenshot). All four toplayer are looking like this. The speed, layer hight and width are the same everywhere, so the volumetric flow is representiv. The bottom layer dont show this pattern.
Does someone have an idea?
RE: Strange Top Layers
Hi Fabian,
Have you got a line like this in your Custom Gcode start Gcode?
it reduces the flow rate a little for certain layer heights. which effectively reduces the liklihood of over extrusion on upper layers

RE: Strange Top Layers
Hi Joan,
even if all the custom gcodes are empty, the problem remains.
RE:
So. Now I set everything to the same speed and hight/width after the first layer and not only the top layer have a flow problem.
I compared every(!!!) setting with a default MK3S profile, which dont have the issue. Is this a bug?
RE: Strange Top Layers
The problem is even in the default Voron V0 profil, with deafult ABS and default print setting. So this have to be a bug, i guess.
RE: Strange Top Layers
Please attach a zipped up project file saved from Prusa Slicer. with the 3mf we can see the same settings as you are using and check things out. Without one is just guesses.
It must be zipped or the forum wont allow the file type.
RE: Strange Top Layers
So noone even tried?
My workaround was to modifiy a mk3s profile, but I still have the issues, if I use the Voron profil with the same settings
