Split Object is disabled. How to use it?
I want to testprint the bottom half to check the tolerances. How would I go about splitting the model inside PrusaSlicer? The 3mf is attached as a zip file.

Just use the cut tool to trim the top section off. You can always reload the mdoel or use undo to get the full model again.
Split objects is when a model consists of multiple distinct parts/objects. This is only a single part so you cant use split to objects or parts as there is only one.

I m also using step files often composed of multiple objects (bodys) and I have the same issue . It seam the software dose not acknowledge that there is multiple object at first when opening the file. The solution is simply to unselect the part (by clicking elsewhere on the plate) then select it again. Then the button to split objects become reactivated.
