The waves were still there, just less pronounced but same location.

I've done these following steps:

Loosened and tightened the x axis belt, tuned it to 89 hz. Loosen it to 69 hz, tightened to 120 hz, zero change in the wave pattern.

Cleaned and re-lubed the Z axis and X axis.

Re-build the X axis carriage (not including the Nextruder)

tested every single screw for tightness.

Used both my and another's users profile, so no custom changes I've done.

Updated firmware to newest firmware.

Before I pull apart the Nextruder and try to realign the bearings, I'm looking for anyone's opinion on this issue.

I don't feel any snagging or pinching on the x-axis. Vase mode does not see these waves.

Any opinions are welcome.

Hello Forum,

I've been struggling to print a custom servo horn for a 25T spur using PETG in my Prusa XL. Attached is a screenshot in which I've circled the problematic part in turquoise (this is not the servo horn I am trying to print, I am just pointing out the hole/teeth):

Either the hole is entirely too big (the printer skips the teeth), or the hole is too small (the teeth overlap/fuse). I've gotten tips on slowing the print speed and testing/calibrating the filament rate. I've tried the former with no success, and I am about to try the filament calibration.

Besides these two tips, are there any more suggestions for how to print a servo horn with properly sized teeth? Would buying a 0.2 mm nozzle solve this issue?

Thank you

I ordered Mk3->4s kit back in late October ‘25. This was after Prusa advertised “all inclusive” tax/duty/shipping in this pop up.

Screenshot

I sent Prusa Support an email asking, basically why I got that bill after paying for FedEx priority shipping (the most expensive shipping option). To which this was their response:

“Good day Mike,Thanks for reaching out. The taxes/customs/tariffs are prepaid only in case you choose to use Global-E as a checkout option, which was not the case with this order. As such, the standard process applies - you pay the associated fees directly to the carrier.”

So, my response was that nowhere do I see any option for “Global-E” as an option. Nor was that condition made clear anywhere during the checkout process. And as I just went back and looked at a new Order I created, I still don’t see any such option. Still only DHL and 3 FedEx options.

So I’m sure they will screw me out of this, but I’m wondering am I missing something here? Anyone else in the US get a bill from FedEx after the advertising was posted?

For the first time I’m questioning my loyalty to this company. Not that anyone there will care about a single customer, but it’ll make me think twice about ordering from them again.

The axis homes perfectly.

Printer wait for temperatures.

Printer make nozzle cleaning.

Printer make bed leveling.

Wait again for temperatures.

Start purge-line.

BUT... when the purge-line is finished. (even the little speed-up in the end) the printer just stand there for 1-2 minutes.
Nothing happens... it just sit there in the end of the purge-line.
Then it start over again with calibrating the axis, waiting for temp., cleaning nozzle, bed leveling, waiting for temp., purge-line....
And now it start printing as nothing has happened.
I checked the start G-code but it is totally fine.

Have anybody else out there seen this behavior.?????

So Imported the stl file into the slicer and went to the layer where I thought the text began to print. The colour change was executed. So all has the same colour now... How, to get only the text and in this case also a border in the different colour? In the slicer I found it very hard to see, and decide where to start the colour change? Any advice or "pro" tips how to get this?
