Slicing a model to print in two colors
I have the attached model I want to print. The text is raised off the surface and should print in a different color. I've modeled it in a separate STL file from the faceplate. It used to be in Prusaslicer that I could select the two STL files to insert and it would ask me if they were part of the same model and then treat them as such. In version 2.9.4, it doesn't do that anymore and places both objects on the print bed so the desired alignment is lost. Should the text be merged to the faceplate now so it's all one model? Is there some other technique I should be using to place these objects in PrusaSlicer?
Thanks

You have to have a Printer set to one that has multi filament capabilities or you dont get the popup.

RE: Slicing a model to print in two colors
Well, actually I played with it some more last night. I found if I joined the text with the faceplate I was then able to slice and add the filament change where I want. So I guess technically you are correct, but I was able to find a solution to my problem.
