Seam gap is large in TPU

Hi there, thanks for reading. In the photo below you can see that my seam has a large gap in it. It seems that when the printer goes to a new layer and starts to lay down plastic it doesn't extrude enough before it starts to move and starts laying plastic after it's already gotten a little bit away from the starting point. Is there a setting to have the printer loiter a moment longer before it starts moving away from its starting point so that the plastic can get out and adhere?

This is with tpu, by the way

Never seen it. Most problems with TPU seems to come from not drying it extensively and not printing from a dry box. One thing you can try is Printer Settings→Extruder 1→Extra length on restart.
