Resin supports appear away from Model

See attached. Any idea why this is happening? I have had several instances of this occurring.  All after reopening a previous project, making some edits and slicing again to update.

I double checked something. I can simply reopen the project and slice again (so not changing anything) and I get the same problem.

First of all you haven't provided basic information.  Like what version of PS are you using ?  What OS ?  Does this happen with every model or only some of them ? etc

Attaching a zipped up Prusa Slicer 3mf project file so that people can duplicate the issue and look for problems is also a important tool to get help.  If you were to open a bug report on the PS github then such a project file would be required anyway.  Use File>Save Project as to save a 3mf.  Then ZIP up the 3mf and attach it to a post using attach file.

The closest I've heard to a similar problem was back in PS 2.3/2.4 and was fixed in v 2.5.

RE:

Thanks for the help.

Prusaslicer 2.6, windows 10 pro. Has happened only occasionally to some models in some projects. The attached project has a mix of no supports models, models with successful supports, and models (copies) of offset supports (problem to address). In this example, if I remove all supports for the offset model, and auto-generate new supports, they attach correctly. This works ok for quick fixes, but obviously not for models that have had extensive manual supporting work done.
