Hello,

I have an interesting issue with Prusaslicer/Prusa Connect menu. 

2  weeks ago it worked properly.

Now, I'm logged in.  Under the printer line, the printer status (available/offline/printing) shows correctly the actual printer status. When I click on Prusa Connect tab, I get a message: "Connection Failed, something went wrong". And nothing happens.

From the chrome browser, I can use the Prusa Connect normally, so the connection to my printer is ok. (And as I mentioned, in the slicer, the printer status is signed correctly).

I removed/reinstalled the slicer many times, but the same. I can log in (moreover: it logs in automatically after starting PrusaSlicer), the printer status is correct - so I think the connection must be ok, but when I click on Connection tab, it's not working. I'm really frustrated and I have no more idea, what to do.

I already asked the help chat, but they hadn't any solution.

Any idea?

Hi,

I have hit the same behavior. In my case it was VPN and some network filtering. Using "clean" connection worked.

Mac OS BigSur, Firefox or Safari browsers

I have the same problem, the "Prusa Connect" tab in PrusaSlicer comes up blank, although I can connect to the printer with the web browser. Even the "Send to Connect button next to "Export" brings up a totally blank window.

I have tried everything, but cannot cure the problem.

prusa connect (from the slicer application) doesn't work for me either. On the same network, the same machine works perfectly fine under linux. Under Windows (win 11) I can't log in to my account within the slicer application because the slicer freezes. There is no error message but it doesn't log in, the application just freezes. prusaslicer 2.8.1+win64 (202409181359) win 11 up to date. any ideas what the problem could be? I got so far that it might have something to do with webviewer2 but I'm stuck here.

Im having the exact same issue on one machine in my network at home. Both are windows 11, but with Prusaslicer 2.9.0, and one works fine, the other just shows a blank screen.

As a quick follow up - it seems like it might be related to the prusaconnect side on the webserver, or how credentials are being handled?

I logged in as me on my wifes machine, and it works fine for me, but when she logs in as herself (she does this via Facebook connect), it does not work.

For me, it was my computer clock that was not ajusted correctly because of my wierd setup. After syncing my clock with the world, all when back to normal.

Check the first drop-down under 'Printers'. Prusa Slicer sometimes defaults back to the System Preset. Reselect your printer profile and it should work fine.

I'm having the exact same problem as you have described and just cannot figure out how to fix it. I've tried:

  • logging in and out in PrusaSlicer and in a web browser - no luck. 
  • Clearing all my computer cached data, cookies etc for Prusa websites - no luck.
  • Deleted PrusaSlicer app and reinstalled - no luck.

I'm using Mac OS Tahoe (26.1). If I open Prusa Connect in Safari this works. But nothing in the Prusa connect tab inside PrusaSlicer or when I click the 'Send to Connect' button when slicing. Both come up white. Though in the Prusa Connect tab of PrusaSlicer, it is white, but there is an orange face icon in the bottom left for 'Give Us Feedback'.

Does anyone else have any ideas as to what's wrong?
