Prusaslicer has encountered an error
Hallo,
for some days starting PrusaSlicer I get the error message "Prusaslicer has encountered an error; Failed to download Archive Database MainfestSSL connect error:schannel: failed to receive handshake, SSL/TLS connection failed[Error 35]". The same with Version 2.9.3 and 2.9.4.
What can I do?
many thanks and best regards
Klaus

RE: Prusaslicer has encountered an error
Same here. Tried these fixes, but no result. https://forum.prusa3d.com/forum/prusaslicer/pursaslicer-2-0-0-not-responding/
RE: Prusaslicer has encountered an error
Same here. Also not able to log in my Prusa Account. Search for Updates also don't work. The Printables Tab in PrusaSlicer also shows an error. After some clicks on retry i am able to see the page but some seconds later there is a red stripe at the top of the page. Could not read whats written there. Don't know what to do. I have tried reinstall PrusaSlicer, disabled Firewalls, Format and reinstalled Windows 11. Installed PrusaSlicer without AntiVirus and Firewall, accepted old TLS and SSL still not working. I remember this issue a while ago but after ca. 1 week it worked all normal again. But now i have this issue 4 weeks straight.
RE: Prusaslicer has encountered an error
Same here.
When I use VPN, then it works.
RE: Prusaslicer has encountered an error
jep, same issue here.
Happy to hear that I am not the only one...
@Admin are you aware of that topic? We need ugently any fix!!! Thanks
RE: Prusaslicer has encountered an error
Hey, thanks for the report. We already have some reports of this, but I've added all the info listed here for the devs. I'm hoping I might have some info soon
RE: Prusaslicer has encountered an error
I've determined that the problem must be with my internet connection.
As soon as I connect my PC to my mobile phone's hotspot, it works.
It also works via VPN.
I'm using a Fritz!Box router and I'm with "Deutsche Telekom". Perhaps this information will help the developers.
Restarting the router (which assigns a new IP address) didn't fix the problem.
Everything was working perfectly until two weeks ago.

RE: Prusaslicer has encountered an error
So guys some news from me.
First of all it all worked again for me for some time (10 min. lol). Connect to PrusaAccount via PrusaSlicer, downloading config data and Printables.
Yesterday I was looking around for this SSL/TLS issue.
One point for a save SSL/TLS Connection is a matching time code from Server and Client. As I right clicked on my networkconnection and clicked diagnosis of networkproblems the "Help" Programm of Windows told me my Systemtime was not sychronised so i googled this error and found this (sorry just in german, but the commands should be the same):
Willkommen bei Microsoft Q&A!
My Win32time Task was realy not running. I followed this steps and set it to automatic start. I changed the Timeserver to "time.nist.gov", did a restart and tried
PrusaSlicer. I was able to download the new 2.9.5 Config, log in to my PrusaAccount and got Connect acces.
After restarting PrusaSlicer, the same issues like before happend.
RE: Prusaslicer has encountered an error
Exactly the same over here.
No connection possible on Win11. It works when connected with a VPN.
It works on Ubuntu 25.10 tough on the same device and network (without VPN).
RE: Prusaslicer has encountered an error
Hi everyone,
me again. It seems like i get the solution to fix the problem for me. (hopefully for u 2 🙂 )
So it seems the timestamp is not causing the problem.
I am normaly connected via Ethernet-Cable. So i tried connecting to Prusa via WiFi and this worked.
I have 2 Network Cards. One for Ethernet, the other onboard for WiFi.
Switching back to Cable --> Problem.
WiFi -> working
Cable via VPN -> working
Turn off IPv6 for my Ethernet-Card without VPN --> working
WIN+R Rightclick on your Internet Connetion Properties Scroll down to Internetprotocoll Version 6(TCP/IPv6) Deselect Click OK
I hope this will help u 2 to get back to Connect via PrusaSlicer 😀
IF this is realy the problem, then the question is why all of a sudden? I've changed nothing on my system and all of a sudden I was not able to connect again until today. It still is Version 2.9.4 of the Slicer. Today I've dowloaded Config 2.9.6. I don't know if i dowloaded a Config Update befoe the problem occured.
RE: Prusaslicer has encountered an error
