PRUSASLICER Elephant Foot Adjustment

Hello everyone,

I am in the process of finalizing the settings for my Prusa SL1, I have printed the famous (68) MorgensternPrinting test "calibration-tolerances-compensation-resin".At the base of the 2 parts there is no problem, I am at 20.04mm for 20mm.My issue lies with the hole in the female part and at the level of the elephant foot.I found a parameter for the elephant foot in the slicer, but if I modify it, I end up with an error message. On the other hand, I don’t see where to modify to only touch the part of the hole.

Thank you in advance for your responses.

Okay, I found my mistake for the elephant's foot; you shouldn't put a negative sign in front of the number.

However, is there a function to correct only the holes in my part, like CHITUBOX could do?

No there isn't.  For that you want to be using either Orca slicer or SuperSlicer (which originally added that function and it was merged into both Orca and Bambu)

Thanks, but I don't see a resin printer in Orca Slicer. As for SuperSlicer, I don't see any difference from PrusasSlicer. Can you tell me where this tab is?

Not sure if this was allowed on a SLA printer (dont have one) but the setting in SuSi for FDM used to be called "Vertical Hole Shrinkage compensation" in the older version of SuSi I have installed.  It is/was an Red/Advanced level setting so you would need to be in Expert mode to see it.  Its purpose was like the default general XY compensation but applied to hole perimeters.  Both the general and Hole compensation values are applied to holes though so it can take tuning to get correct.

Most people usually just modify their designs to make the holes print at the size they want as thats easier to do if you are designing your own stuff.
