PrusaSlicer 2.6.0 install on Mac does not work
Downloaded the link for Mac, opened the DMG file, drag and dropped the app into Applications, selected the replace option. Now PrusaSlicer is just gone from Applications. Even my prior version is missing.

Have you tried downloading and installing it again? No issues here on a Mac Mini and Macbook Air.

When I installed it on my Mac it was installed as "Original Prusa Drivers" look for that or just do a computer search for Prusa...

No problems with my Mac. 2.6.0 just waiting to go to work. I have tested it to make sure, no problem.

Same trouble as described by Rick - says the version is new on opening Prusa Slicer (Version 2.6.0 based on Slic3r0 but does not include the new features on right click - still the old drop down, no text features.....I'm operating a MacBook Pro Apple M2 Max.
RE: PrusaSlicer 2.6.0 install on Mac does not work
Hi,
I can not get v.2.6.0 to open on my Mac. I am running on Apple Macbook Pro on an M1 Max chip. When I try to open the software I get this error "The Application "PrusaSlicer" can't be opened. -47"

Might be quarantine-flag, might be gatekeeper intervening, might be wrong access privileges...
I'd reboot and reinstall before further troubleshooting.

Could be virus protections software too. As Robin said, clean delete the old version, reboot, and try again.

RE: PrusaSlicer 2.6.0 install on Mac does not work
Prusa Slicer 2.6.0 does not work for me either! I have an iMac from 2017, 27-inch, Mac OS Ventura 13.5. So far, all versions of Prusa Slicer have run without problems. Since the 2.6.0+MacOS-x64 update, the program crashes after the splash screen. Have deleted the old version, reinstalled Slicer and rebooted the computer (as Fuchser recommended) ... no success! What can I do? I am currently helping myself with Cura, but is not the solution in the long run.

Is reinstalling the previous version working?
(I am running 2.6.0. on 2017 27.inch iMac on MacOS 13.4.1c)

RE: PrusaSlicer 2.6.0 install on Mac does not work
PS. Just updated my Mac to 13.5. Slicer 2.6.0 still running without issues.
I'd try to manually delete (or better move) the ApplicationSupport Data from Slicer (located in your user's library-folder) and do a re-install. Before that I'd try a downgrade to the last version you were successfully running before.

RE: PrusaSlicer 2.6.0 install on Mac does not work
Thanks for your quick help! The previous version is not running now either. Do you mean the "data" subfolder from the Prusa Control folder?
RE: PrusaSlicer 2.6.0 install on Mac does not work
It is working again! First deleted the Prusa Slicer and then deleted all (!) Prusa folders in the Application Support folder and then re-downloaded the Slicer 2.6.0. Have to reconfigure everything now though. Does not matter! The main thing is that the slicer runs again. Thanks again for the tip with the deletion!
