Prusaslicer 2.4.1 very odd issue
Ok, super odd. When my mouse cursor is inside the gray working area in Prusaslicer, my computer makes a light buzzing sound. Its not coil whine, I'm familiar with that. I took this video of it. Its definitely audible in the video, but earbuds do help. Outside of the gray area, no buzz sound. https://photos.app.goo.gl/iXFo5DGmDP5eQupp9 Hope that links works on the forum. I uninstalled the standalone package and installed the regular package. Same issue on both versions.
I was thinking maybe it was because the window is GPU accelerated but nothing else I open that is GPU accelerated causes the sound.
I'm not worried, just confused. Thought I'd pass it on.
RISPONDI: Prusaslicer 2.4.1 very odd issue
I'm sorry this is so late - and not helpful: but I too have the same issue! Everytime I mouse over a button, I get a brrrrent sort of sound.
As far as I can tell it's not hurting anything, but it's just concerning.
RE: Prusaslicer 2.4.1 very odd issue
2.4.1 is still my go to daily driver for slicing, 2.5 sucks and it looks like 2.6 is following suit. I'm running it on Windows 7 and 10. I have not experienced this. What are your specs?
RE: Prusaslicer 2.4.1 very odd issue
No response to this issue, only further shows the problem. Prusa you are heading the wrong direction with your software. you have a history of pretending to listen to your customers, it's catching up with you. Start listening to those who know, not just the newbies.
RE: Prusaslicer 2.4.1 very odd issue
well I was on 2.7 (or whatever version was before 2.8) and noticed this "buzzing" noise coming from my PC when I moused over things in prusa. First time I've noticed this in all the years I've been using the slicer. Updated to 2.8 and same issue still.
