Semicolons and leading/trailing spaces in printer profile names were not handled correctly.

I suspect the same might be true for many apps. Leading and trailing spaces (for whatever reason) are just bad. ditto semicolon cause it looks to much like colon.

Many of our users run a small or medium-sized print farm, so they may slice and upload G-codes to numerous 3D printers in a single PrusaSlicer session. The following enhancements were made to better accommodate this workflow:

After the Configuration Wizard installs the first printer, the "default" print, filament, sla print, and sla material profiles are now activated.

The list of Printer profiles linked with a Physical Printer profile is now properly stored and loaded. Semicolons and leading/trailing spaces in printer profile names were not handled correctly.

PrusaSlicer 2.4.0-alpha1 was released September of 2021, and is currently in the 2.4.2 final version. you may have posted in the wrong area.

Could you please open an issue at https://github.com/prusa3d/PrusaSlicer/issues with some more information about your system (Help -> System info), screenshots, etc. You should be able to attach 21MB file there (archive it to zip first).

I downloaded slicer 2.4.0 alpha1 a couple of days ago, and many things about it are excellent improvements. I particularly like the ability to put in very precisely placed supports, the support automation by angle, and the ability to place a brim by object.

However, having positioned an object and added a modifier, I then wanted to add a new part. When I clicked the option to do add the part, all the tools on the main screen kept flashing in and out of visibility as I rotated or moved the image, making it a very lengthy process. I had to move the image about until the tools came back into view before I could use them.

Before I carried out these two modifications, I had no problem at all with the tools vanishing.

Oh - it might be relevant that I tried to move the modifier without using the move tool, and it shot out of view miles behind the object, and I had to delete it and start again. This may be relevant in getting the bug to show itself.

Im afraid my days of coding stopped 3 decades ago, so I can't suggest a fix, but I'd like to encourage one!

I took a video of the problem but cannot attach it as it is 21,000Kb, and this site will not accept it.
