PrusaSlicer 2.3.0. NO Filaments available In Filament Tab, HELP!!!
After I tried to manually change my default Filament in the"...Roaming/ PrusaSlicer/Printer" Folder, Prusa Slicer would no longer Export G-Code, so I Uninstalled PrusaSlicer with the Win10 utility and deleded any remaining User Data folders. I reinstalled Slicer 2.3.0 from the Zip download, and ran the Wizard, but no filament profiles are available to slice with. I then Uninstalled, etc. again and tried the Intaller Utility. Worked fine, as far as I can tell, but same filament problem.
This is shutting down my ability to make anything. Please Help!

What is "Sandbox Prusa I3 MK3"? From the screen shot I'm guessing it's not a Prusa printer.
I believe the default location for filaments is ....\AppData\Roaming\PrusaSlicer\filament
When you install filaments they have dependancies set for the specified printer. For example

One of the options during the config wizard is to add a custom name for your printer. I ran the Config wizard again this morning and the filaments are now registering in the drop-down menu, however now when you hit "slice", the plater blanks. No slicing progress is displayed, and no export option appears. If I can't wipe the whole thing completely (because the uninstall utility is incomplete) and start over, which should take under 5 minutes, I'll have to reformat my computer or find a new slicer for this machine.

"I'll have to reformat my computer ..." Ok, I don't it will require anything that drastic.
Unless something weird happened or you manually changed something yuo probably don't need to uninstall. Just rerun the configuration wizard.
In the config wizard select either a Prusa printer, a other vendor printer or a custom printer.
Just a guess but I suspect you have misunderstood, you posted "One of the options during the config wizard is to add a custom name for your printer." but that not a custom name, it's a custom printer ie not Prusa and not in the list of other vendors. If that is the case you need to fill in the details of the custom print (bed size ... etc.).
What brand of printer do you have? What operating system are you using (I guess it's win something).
RE: PrusaSlicer 2.3.0. NO Filaments available In Filament Tab, HELP!!!
If you are using PrusaSlicer 2.3.x, you are running into the newly-implemented vendor bundle approach Prusa has implemented. In short, if you save a custom printer profile (e.g., your Sandbox Prusa I3 MK3), it is no longer part of the officially supported Prusa configurations. The Prusa filament profiles have been written so they only support a single vendor since so many parameters will depend on the printer your using.
You have a couple of options if you are creating a custom printer profile for a Prusa or any other printer:
- Install a Prusa printer profile, pull up each filament profile, modify it as desired, detach it from the system preset (see image below), and save it with a custom name.
- Extract the Prusa filament profiles from their .ini file, edit them as desired and remove the dependencies, and import these as a custom set of profiles that can be used with any printer.
I've done the latter and have a set of copies of the Prusa profiles as of December 1, 2020 here if you just want to pull those in.

@towlerg
You are correct sir. I totally missed that. Its all back to the way it was before, after rerunning the config wizard.
I guess my real question is: "How do I change my default filament to generic PETG- copy, and my default settings to one I have made specifically for some support blocks I make over and over?" Lol.
Thanks for getting me back on track!

@bobstro
Thanks so much. That really clarifies what those .ini files are doing. I'll look into modifying those **Correctly**.

It seems that the default profiles (Print, Filament and Printer) are set when you export a config bundle with physical printer.
