RE: PrusaSlicer 2.2.0-beta
I have improved the handling of profile compatibility for upcoming PrusaSlicer 2.2.0-rc a bit, see the comments at
https://github.com/prusa3d/PrusaSlicer/issues/3715
For the next PrusaSlicer (likely 2.2.1 or 2.3), we will likely add a textual explanation to the "Dependencies" preset page explaining why the profile is marked with the red flag as incompatible: Is it because the "compatible with print" condition is not satisified? Is it because the "compatible with printer" condition is not satisfied? Is it because the profile comes from a different Vendor bundle than the Printer profile?

@bubnikv
Looking forward to trying it.
The only query I have is there is a lot of mention of red flagged incompatible profiles but from what I have seen with the older printer profiles the profiles that would normally be red flagged are not even shown on the list, its essentially empty with no system or default ones. Does your fix now show the red flagged ones in the list again ?

Yes.

In 2.1.1 there is a checkbox in the preferences to show incompatible profiles. I assume it isn't removed in 2.2.0.

@lichtjaeger
That checkbox does not work for the new profiles organisation, I have mentioned it on one of the github issues awhile a go.
There are compatible with dependencies as part of the notes fields which that tickbox used to work with but the new inherits scheme just doesnt show profiles at all if they arent compatible in the 'new' way.
