Prusaclicer not converting all elements
I have been having problems with a SVG Logo (Using Fusion 360) output (STL file) where when carry out slicing the main body of the Logo it
is OK but it keeps missing the small part (M) can any one help ?

hi Roy,
if the thickness of the lines on the letter M, is thinner than the extrusion width of the filament, the slicer will ignore it!
one option, is to set XY Size Compensation factor to say 0.2mm or 0.3mm and try slicing again!
it's in "Print Settings>Advanced"

Wow ! It works
Many Thanks

What does this setting do
RE: Prusaclicer not converting all elements
Hi Roy,
the setting makes the model elements artificially thicker, so that in this case, you are able to print items, without having to either use a narrower nozzle or redesign the model... But, it is no good if you have need for dimensional accuracy...
In this case with a Logo, dimensional accuracy is usually not a huge issue!
In the images above you can see the effect of thin sections and slicing...
In the picture with Green items you see what was designed, in the picture with orange items you see what was sliced...
As you can see the thicker line slices Ok. but the thinner line disappears towards the thin end, and if you look carefully at the thin end, the first layer slices a tiny bit further, because as a default setting with a 0.4mm nozzle the first layer extrusion width is o.42mm whilst the perimeters on other layers are 0.45mm extrusion width. as soon as the line thickness gets below the extrusion width, the slicer stops slicing the line.
if you were to increase the XY size compensation, value, the line would print further...
