Problems switching from S3d to PrusaSlicer (Help needed)
Hello,
i ordered my MK3S+ last week and now tried to get used to PrusaSlicer. (Used S3d sucessfully for 2 years now with my Anycubic i3 Mega).
After some tewaking and research for some days i got nice results and a good benchy printed yesterday. Quite happy so far.
But then i tried to print some sorting boxes (from Alexandre Chapel) and i got very mixed results.
PICS: Results and related slicer pics for comparison
Easy model..walls a really good…but the unterside is…..
As you see in the pics: Crappy „intersections“ with PrusaSlicer, very good results (in comparison) with S3d! I want to get the same with prusa now…but i have no idea what to tweak or search for.
I added 2 comparison pics with the differend slicing results. With prusa there is a fine line in the middle oft he sqare joints that is not visible with s3d.
I even tried to lower the printing speeds (60 to 45) with no improvements so far.
Maybe you guys have an idea what to try or search for. It is quite hard for me to transfer all the settings between the 2 slicers because some are labled differently, others are completly different.
What settings do i need to paste with screenshots in here that would possibly help ( did not want to add too many pics 😀 ). (or maybe uploading of both sliced gcodes can help ?!)
I am really hoping to get some ideas…i like prusa slicer and some features VERY much!
And i hope that i will be able to get the same good results as with S3d.

@cwbullet
No, as i was told by the creator i did not. And as i can see with S3d the are not necessary.
( i printed a new sorting box this night sliced with s3d... worked flawlessly again).

Can you post either the stl or your saved project (3mf file) from Prusa Slicer ?
You will need to zip it up into an archive to attach it here though as the forum is very picky about what file types are allowed.

@mmprint
I was not trying to tell you to do so. I am trying to look at the photo and figure the results.
