Printing a model with gaps

I have a small model of irregular shape, that is make up of a number of parts that have gaps between them.  I want to print it as one solid object whilst retaining the gaps between the pieces.

I can add a rectangular slab underneath that would do the job, but only if the slab was the same size and contour of the whole model.

If I could print a solid model (with the gaps filled) then I could use that as the underneath slab.

Any ideas ?

Many thanks.. - I've attached a zip file of the model Dog1

Interesting question.  In the brim setting under Print Settings,  you can change the Brim to be internal.    Play with that.  I noticed that parts were now joined.

Or open the original file in blender or some other program and paint a single layer in the gaps.

Interesting idea - thanks - I did play with that but I wanted it much thicker and more solid, and I think I've found another (non-prusaslicer) solution.

The original came from a normal .jpg scan of the model and I simply then coloured a copy of the .jpg with a solid colour and then imported that with it.  This gave me a solid base of exactly the same size that I can manipulate under the model.  Works a dream !

Many thanks for your help..
