Printer profile without defined MMU3 as a "start" profile for a printer profile using mmu3

Hello from Vienna!

I have a quite good working printer profile for my mk4s using a user defined filament definition. Everything works fine for a printer profile without mmu3.

Now I have the idea to use this combination as a default profile (printer and filament) for a printer Profile with mmu3. The previous defined filament is the definition of the first extruder (for example)

When I use the "compare tool" with the transfer option, there is just one extruder defined in the "new" printer profile.

Is there a possibility to create the other 4 extruder in the new MMU3 printer profile based on the existing "single extruder" profile

I know, that it is necessary to do some adoptions to the  definitions of the single extruder.

On the other way I could change all the values (of the first extruder) manually - but that is a lot of work!

The MMU 3 works with certain filaments only - officially, but I think it should be possible to use user defined filaments with the MMU3 too - doing some adoptions to the profiles.

What do you think?

Thank you

This is a perfectly reasonable idea, but it does have a few drawbacks as PrusaSlicer does not automatically map or convert all extruder parameters when switching from a single to a multi-material printer
