Print Settings::First layer speed

Hello,

IDK if this is a bug or more likely my misunderstanding of the help text for the first layer speed.

I have been manually slowing my printer down for the first layer to 80% using the encoder wheel.  I thought that was silly and there was probably a way to tell the printer when I slice.  Sure enough there is.  However, when I type in 80%, which based on the help text I should be able to do, the printer moves really fast, not slower.

I am entering what I want the wrong way?

If I use an absolute value of 16 giving me 16 mm/s per the help text I get the desired result.

The default value is 20.

Thanks in advance.

RE: Print Settings::First layer speed

80% on the rotatory is 80% of 40mm/s (default first layer speed, for the XL) -> 32mm/s

Setting 'First layer speed' to 80% in the slicer is 80% of 140mm/s (default solid infill speed, for the XL) which is 112mm/s

If your machine's default first layer speed is 20 and you want 80% of that then inputting 16mm/s would be correct.

First layer speed when used as a percentage is based on the speed of the feature its printing.  So 80% of the external perimeter speed, 80% of the perimeter speed, 80% of infill speed etc.
