Original Prusa MK1 in PrusaSlicer 2.3.0
I own a Prusa MK1 for a few years now. Recently I bought a new MK3S+ with MMU2S. Also I installed the new PrusaSlicer 2.3.0. I like this slicer a lot.
I thought I could use the new 2.3.0 for my MK1 as well. But I was wrong. Why is the MK1 missing in the list of printers. So I tried 'Custom printer setup'.
I think I should select 'Marlin'?
I setup the printer dimensions, nozzle diameter, filament diameter, extruder temp, heatbed temp, some filaments and started slicing and printing. But directly at the start the printer acts strange on Z movements. it just rattles away, sometimes it starts printing in mid air.
So I re-installed the old Slicer. Tried slicing and printing. No problem at all. So I copied all G-code settings from the old Slicer to the new PrusaSlicer, hoping that would do the trick but no. I just can't slice anything usefull for my MK1.
Please help. Is it the gcode flavor that's the problem (if so: what flavor do I need) or should I look for other causes?
