New to PS, and using 2.6.0 rc1, how to address floating bridge anchors?
I am checking out PrusaSlicer now that it has support for Klipper/Mainsail and loaded up the CalibrationCat, and get the warning about "Floating bridge anchors" and yes I can see that on the bottom of the cat, there are bridges that start unsupported. What setting can I fix this? bridging_angle is 0 (auto), so not sure what else can I try?

Someone may know how to answer this question. For myself on models I have printed for a long time this Warning only started to show up in PS 2.6. I ignore it on models I've done before and it prints fine, other than I had to manually adjust the angle. I do have very thin walls on one side of the bridge and I don't know if it is related to that. It does appear that the bridge doesn't really like to go across those thin walls, so that's likely why it is saying the anchors are floating. And perhaps prior to 2.6 it handled it differently.

There are issues with bridge anchors in the 2.6 releases. Even the RC versions. As well as the issue I believe you opened (as it was a calicat) there was already this one https://github.com/prusa3d/PrusaSlicer/issues/9999

Possible workaround:
I am still having this issue on certain models with 2.6.0 signed. For me it may be because one side of the bridge infill is to a thin wall that is only 2 perimeters wide. The closest perimeter is NOT an external perimeter. Not sure if that is related.
But by putting in a little 0.5mm chamfer on the offending edge I can change the immediately preceding layer to be 3 perimeters wide which is then giving the bridge infill something to attach to.
I have printed hundreds of these models prior to 2.6 with no issues so something changed obviously, but hopefully I can just modify the models with the chamfer and it will fix the issue.
Two screenshots. First one shows 2 layers without the chamfer. You can see at the top the bridge infill works and attaches to prior layer, but not so on the bottom. 2nd one shows two layers with the chamfer. Bridge infill now appears to attach.
Figured I'd post just in case it helps someone.
