New to prusaslicer. Just installed it and getting an error when I try to check it's up to date.
Just installed Prusaslicer (new user here) and as with any software I install the first thing I check is that the installed software doesn't have any updates waiting. Clicked on the Configuration -> Check for Updates menu option and got the following;
boost::filesystem::copy_file: The system cannot find the file specified: "C:\Users\<User>\AppData\Roaming\PrusaSlicer\cache\PrusaResearch.idx-update", "C:\Users\<User>\AppData\Roaming\PrusaSlicer\vendor\PrusaResearch.idx-update"
Is this the normal behaviour of the software?
Also, is there any sort of tutorial on how to use the software? Trying to learn it before my printer turns up so I'm not fumbling in the dark completely once it arrives.

PS restart again then it works

You are not the only user suffering from this as there is already an issue on the github site (where bugs are reported) https://github.com/prusa3d/PrusaSlicer/issues/4716
It has to be something in the settings or configuration or security etc of particular machine setups as the vast majority of users dont have the problem.
As for starting to learn it then start here https://help.prusa3d.com/en/category/prusaslicer_204

Run Prusa "As Administrator" (even you are administrator)
