Multiple Body Slicing-- How to force body boundaries on slicing?

I am new to MMU printing so still getting used to the workflow here...

I have a custom wall switch plate that I am trying to create with embedded things in it. The attached (hopefully) .3mf file has two bodies in it. One is the base plate and the other is the embedded sun object. When I slice this, I see that the slicer added perimeters, it did not add a solid layer at the boarders of the two bodies in the XY plane as shown below. 

While ordinarily, that might be sufficient, in this case the light-gray is transparent PETG and the resulting print is not desirable.

Is there anyway to force the slicer to add a 'bottom layer'  to the boundary layers?
