Model after slicing has gaps Any tips how to fix?

Hello!

The model appears perfectly fine when looking at it normally. But after slicing it gets gaps all over the place thatll fall apart when printing. Any tips on how to fix? Linked the .obj below.

After slicing in Prusa slicer with 0.15mm quality.

In cure slicer its a lot better but problems still exist. I have printed this one and it fell apart where the gap is.

That model is incredibly broken which is why its missing parts and doesn't slice properly.

The worst errors a model can have for slicing are non manifold edges.  It has 2586 non manifold edges.  It also has 1328 intersecting faces, 58 zero faces and 34 zero edges.

The right click and fix though netfabb option fixes it enough to slice (if you are on windows 10 that option is available, if on another OS then you will need to use the netfabb website or another similar fixing process).

However even if you fix it, the model is not well suited to printing using fdm.  Even at 200% scale there are far too many really thin parts that would require support.  You would probably break them off trying to remove the support in my opinion.  If you do print it then standing on the engines nose pointing up would be best.

If printing at 100% then even detect thin walls doesn't produce extrusion for all parts and bits are still disconnected due to the thinness of them.  You would have to use x/y compensation, at least 0.1mm (and if using that turn OFF detect thin walls as that causes its own issues).

If the model was created by lofting or the use of NURMS, or NURBS you may need to shell those parts to make them Manifold.

Models for the screen and models for FDM/FFF have to be constructed differently.

Good Luck
