Kobra 2 Pro profile
So I installed Prusa Slicer from the USB that comes with my Kobra 2 Pro. It has the profile for my Kobra 2 Pro and this is where it all goes wrong. It asked me to update and of course I did. It restarts and no more profile. I can see the Old anycubic profile, but not the new profile anymore. Soo, I uninstalled it and reinstalled the old one, still no Kobra 2 pro profile.
What gives. It's there, but Prusa is not having it. The update just screwed me.
Anyone know what's going on?
Have you contacted Anycubic support? They should be able to put together a profile and supply it to Prusa to include in the wizard.
Cheerio,
RE: Kobra 2 Pro profile
Like I said, it's already in there. The update wiped it.
Not that copy. If they supply a tested version to Prusa it can be incorporated into the configuration wizard alongside the other Anycubic profiles. Is the file available on the Anycubic site?
If you took a configuration snapshot it may be in there, or, depending on your operating system, you may be able to roll-back and take a copy before updating and reinstating.
It's also worth looking in your .config folder (linux) where PS keeps some files.
Cheerio,
RE: Kobra 2 Pro profile
Oh, okay, let me see what I can do.... I used it once before I updated and it worked perfectly. I've had to use the Anycubic slicer and the settings there are perfect also.
RE: Kobra 2 Pro profile
Shouldn't this discussion be in the PrusaSlicer forum instead of the Prusa Connect/Link one?

RE:
I dont know if this attached, but the file attached is the file I got fron Anycubic. It is the settings for Prusa for the Anycubic Kobra 2 Pro.
I did check them against my settings from anycubic slicer and they are pretty much the same. Have at it if you want.
I have tried and they worked for me with a little tweeking, but not much.
RE: Kobra 2 Pro profile
Hi,
Did you ZIP Compress the file before trying to attach it?
If not, the forum, quietly deletes files which are not zip compressed. which is most irritating.
could you please try again.
