Interface Shell - Why is this setting not working for me.
I have a simple "keychain" model.
Before it starts the layer with the text I want a nice 100% solid layer.
I turned on "Interface Shells" in Print Settings.
But when I slice, the layer under the text looks like this...
I thought Interface Shells would give me this smooth layer.

I think I may have answered my own question.
On a single extruder printer, it looks like for Interface Shells to work the model has to be separate objects with differing colors.
This requirement is a little silly but I can work around it.
