Incorrectly reading STL during slice?
I have been trying to print a complex part that does not seem to come out. The part is a print in place articulated tail. No matter what, I could not get one of the joints to move, resulting in the part breaking every time. Looking at the layer by layer slice, I see that PrusaSlic3r is joining the perimeters of two parts.
Doing a section analysis in Fusion, I see that the STL looks good, but PS is definitely joining layers.
I've tried different settings, but this part always slices this way.

Slice gap closing radius is about the only setting that should cause anything like that besides a sneaky mesh issue. As a sanity check you right click on the model and Split to parts you can move each piece around right? If they all split to parts, does it still combine meshes if you slice split up?

Good to hear! I would create an issue on github and attach the project file (if model is allowed) because this shouldn't be happening.

done. Issue #3043 Thanks again.
