Importing supports from Meshmixer

Watched this video from Joesf and it is awesome!

Everything works great until I try and separately import the model and supports. I first import the stl of the model and then import the model of the supports. Despite having "Auto-center parts" turned off, the support does not end up in the correct place and still appears to be centering itself on the build plate (same for the model itself)? So far I have only been successful when I  do not split the model and supports and export them as a single STL. Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks

Ok, I figured this out. I first need to import the main model STL, THEN do add part for the support!

I struggled with this as well.

For anyone else that finds this thread by googling the problem, please note that "Add part - Load" and "Import - STL" are not the same thing. You need to use "Add part".
