How to pan view using trackpad?

I know how one pans the view using a physical mouse: press the right-mouse button and then move around. But that doesn't work on a trackpad: tapping with two fingers (which is right click) and then moving around actually implements the scroll wheel, which in PrusaSlicer performs a zoom. That's nice, but leaves no possible way to pan the view using the trackpad alone. Unless I'm missing something? Is this just a feature which PrusaSlicer lacks, being able to perform a very common 3D model interaction without needing a physical mouse?

RE:

With a mouse you need ti press abd hold the right mouse button and mouse to pan.

So with the trackball you would have to press and hold the key as well, or program it to toggle right mouse press and hold.

See my GitHub and printables.com for some 3d stuff that you may like.

I am on a MacBook Pro and just click and hold while moving works fine. Holding Ctrl while click-holding pans around. Hope this helps.

I tried using Ctrl+click-and-drag, it did the exact same thing as normal click-and-drag (which is to say, rotate). Shift+click-and-drag and Alt+click-and-drag select and unselect objects. Ctrl and either Shift or Alt do the same thing as Shift and Alt alone do, and any combination with Shift and Alt do the same thing as Shift alone. Holding down the Windows key (because I'm on a Windows laptop) does nothing but pop open the Start menu after I release the trackpad.
