                        <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I don't think the original request is possible without postprocessing the gcode. But using a different filament might get the visual impact you want.</p><p>For example, here is a print that I did and the side that is up was against the bed when printing. This is using Filament PM Silver (the type that used to be included with MK3 kits), and I printed with hilbert curve bottom fill pattern. The part feels smooth (because I printed on the smooth PEI plate), but the resulting visual pattern is almost holographic when viewed with stereo vision (i.e. two good eyes, instead of a photograph).</p><p><a href="https://storage.googleapis.com/prusa3d-content-prod-14e8-wordpress-forum-prod/2024/12/b5ed5048-img_20190706_014632.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-172616" src="https://storage.googleapis.com/prusa3d-content-prod-14e8-wordpress-forum-prod/2024/12/b5ed5048-img_20190706_014632.jpg" alt="" width="554" height="300" /></a></p><p>I've had other filaments that have similar visual effects.                         <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Hi, thanks for the reply!<br />I played around with this parameter and noticed that although it changed the extrusion width in the 3d preview, it also adjusted the density of fill lines to compensate.  I haven't tried a real print yet.<br /><br />In some sense I'm trying to break things a little by introducing slight gaps.  It's probably a good thing that I'm having a hard time. :)</p>]]></content:encoded>
