How to get rid of unnecessary solid infill?
Right now my solid infill is 4 hours of this print. and most of it is not needed. It is on the inside where nothing is being built on top. I can understand if there will be top layers coming up in that area, but when its a 45 degree angle going outwards i cant.
I have been trying different settings to no avail. Its the one flaw in prusa slicer. Cura doesnt do this, but cura gives me horrible prints.
it wastes time and filament as well as the small back and forth being unneeded wear on the printer. It wasnt that big of a deal, but i recently started a 3d printing business and as the saying goes, time is money. Sometimes the solid infill is 30-50% of the print time
Any thoughts on how to get rid of this kind of thing?
some of this is for sure necessary, but there is quite a bit that is not.
help would be greatly appreciated! thank you
