How do I find and use the layer slider.
I've seen references to a "layer slider" in some slicer software. Does prusa slicer have an equivalent option. Can't find it in the slicer and don't see references to it.
RE: How do I find and use the layer slider.
When you slice a model it automatically changes from the object view to the preview. This preview allows you to check the output visually. On the right hand side of the main window it will add a layer slider. This allows you to step through each layer and examine it. You can also change what information is being previewed. Default is feature type but there are many others like speed, temperature, volumetric flow etc.
Foe example this one shows a sliced model on the left, and then the bottom of the layer slider in the middle as well as the object manipulation panel on the right.
RE: How do I find and use the layer slider.
In addition to the vertical slider between the preview of the sliced model and the object manipulation panel, there's a horizontal slider on the bottom to show the actual tool path.
One more word about the vertical aka layer slider: It has two handles, one moves the top and one the bottom of the selected area.

Thanks for the two replies. Don't know how I missed that. Have only been using this slicer a couple of weeks.
Is there documentation that explains all the options for the slider.
Also, If I enter custom g-code in the before layer change section to change the temperature, should that temp change be displayed.

RE: How do I find and use the layer slider.
Unfortunately Joan the Prusa Slicer knowledge base is lacking ANY information on the layer slider(s). I checked before my initial post as I do generally like to point people to Prusa resources when they exist. Its why I ended up using an existing old pic that was in my media library on the site instead.
