Hollow Modifier Shapes
I designed a coin and i want to make the outer rim of the coin a different color (using MMU2s) but the modifiers are solid and it would be painstaking to add a dozen (or more) modifier to only hit the outer rim of my coin... is there a way to make the cylinder hollow? If not this would be an amazing option to add to the slicer. i.e. be able to control the "wall thickness" of the preset modifiers and make them hollow to to perimeters of circular objects.
RE: Hollow Modifier Shapes
Why not set the default (ie the normal profile settings) to the values you want for the rim of the coin and then place a cylinder modifier in the middle with the changed settings for that area ?

@neophyl
that't not a bad idea! It didn't occur to me to do concentric cylinders... ill try that
RE: Hollow Modifier Shapes
it helped a little but i think i may need to just create them as separate components in my cad software and then assign them a color... cant get what i need with the modifiers as they are

You can do this easily enough by creating a hollow cylinder in another program, exporting it as an STL and loading it in as a modifier in Prusa Slicer. I've attached a quick example as a 3mf file for you to look at, you aren't limited to simple geometric shapes either, you can use whatever shape you like as a modifier.
EDIT: Sorry, not able to attach .3mf directly, I'll try zipping it
