Getting voids in Sliced object

Trying to print Thingiverse 4338201 Hinge for Rubbermaid Sliding Roof Shed 3T16 8.  Object looks fine before slicing, but beside the object name in PrusaSlicer 2.7.1 is says errors were fixed and windows can fix more errors.  After slicing there are voids and the part is useless as it has no strength.  Others (i'm the first) who printed it have not highlighted this issue in the comments.

So is the Model defective or is there a setting I need to use in PrusaSlicer?  Below is a pic od the first few layers so you can see the voids in the bottom and the side wall.

Thanks for any ideas and help with this.

Brian

Hi Brian,
Which printer are you slicing the file for?
What filament are you expecting to use?
What nozzle size?

Using MK4, Prusament PETG, 100% infill, no supports, tried different values and options to no avail.

Had all this in my first attempt to post, but lost all my work as Wordfence detected I had a URL to the model.  Nasty that I could not backup and correct that.

No matter, model looks whole before slicing and has voids after.  Even tried opening/ saving STL in windows 3D still has voids.  Only solution was to bury solid blocks into the model.  Not ideal.

Thanks

Nozzle is stock 0.4mm, I send from PrusaSlicer to Printer using the G > button to send about 11MB file for the left and mirrored right objects.  But regardless I don’t have to print to see the problem in the slice.

Thanks

Not much to say. The model is broken. Sometimes Cura can handle STL problems better than Prusaslicer, so that's why maybe some people were able to print it. If Fix through Netfabb (or whatever it's called now) in PS doesn't work, you can try an online service such as https://www.formware.co/onlinestlrepair

RE: Getting voids in Sliced object

Hi Brian,

Apart from the bottom right corner (Which appears to be a support) this part printed OK on my mk3.9

Shed_Hinge7
I have attached a projrct file, above, which may help.

I sliced this in Slicer 2.7.1
0.4mm nozzle,
Prusament Jet Black PETG

regards Joan

Thanks for the model repair Joan.  It Slices great now on my computer.  Yes bottom right is a support the original designer added.  Curious how you fixed it.  I downloaded many times on Windows 10 to no avail.  You can see in my original image where the voids were.   First time I have ever had a bad model since I started with Prusa MK3S printer in 2020, then added the + kit and some months ago the MK4 upgrade kit.  So am totally confused if you just downloaded and printed it no problems.  Again Thanks for helping out.
