G-code sliced for a different printer type, continue?

I really hate opening a new thread for every question I have, but the search function on this forum has yet to deliver me any results for very many things. I'm sure the information is in this forum somewhere, but the "search" function doesn't ever seem to get me where I need to be. My apologies if this has already been answered a dozen times.

I have an MK3S+ and am using Slicer version 2.5.0+win64 that I just updated to.

Why doesn't the slicer software let me select the printer version that I have? It's not in the pull-down menu. I did see online where I could go to Printer Settings > Custom G-Code > Start G-Code and comment out the version and nozzle checks (since I'm the only one that uses this printer and it won't change) but that seems like a bandaid....and that post was from 2020 and I can't even seem to find "custom G-code" in this slicer software.

How can I slice for my exact printer? Having that message pop up every time gets annoying.

Thanks in advance.

Did you add your printer model via the Configuration Wizard, see screenshot?

After that you have the printer profile and can "Add a physical printer" via the context menu for the printer profile.

I went through the wizard. Thank you. I'll try it when this print finishes in a few hours.
