Fuzzy skin on top surface?
Hello,
When activating the fuzzy skin, it seems to affect only the sides of an object, even if the option "all sides" is activated. Is it possible to have a fuzzy skin on top of an object?
Fuzzy skin is a quasi-random horizontal displacement of the outer perimeter. To add it to the top would require a rather odd scattering of very short extrusions and even then the effect would be very different - as for adding it to the bottom...
I have no idea what it's meant to be used for. I remember trying it when it first came out to add texture to a grip but it was nowhere near as good as defining a suitable roughness in the original CAD. Most of the CAD-like functions in PrusaSlicer are there as a back stop for users to tweak downloaded files when they have no access to the original software.
If these are your own designs then incorporate the textures before importing into the slicer.
Cheerio,

That makes sense. Thank you.
