First Layer Perimeters and Solid Infill different widths
Hi everyone, Is it possible in PrusaSlicer to set different widths for the first layer perimeters and the first layer solid infill?
Thanks in advance!
P.S. I had this option available in Cura

Is this what you want?
the left hand object has different perimeter width and infill width compared to the right hand object
this permits different extrusion widths on different parts, on the same layer (In this case on the first layer)

RE:
No. You can specify the first layer extrusion width but you cannot specify a different extrusion width for first layer perimeters and first layer infill.

Thanks for your answer, but no, i mean different width for the first layer perimeters and the width for first layer solid infill, in Prusa Slicer we have only one parameter for both widths

Thank you very much! I think this is deeply embedded in the Prusa algorithm, and unfortunately, we cannot influence it.

Do you know of any slicer that can do this, apart from Cura?

I'm only familiar with Super Slicer (SuSi) and Orca and both of those are based on PS. So while SuSi and Orca both use the more sensible thing of setting the width on nozzle diameter when set as a percentage rather than PS's layer height it still doesn't allow what you want.
You can get different speeds on the first layer for different extrusion types but not widths.

Joan when I tried that it didn't work for me initially. However it does work but ONLY if you set your First Layer value on the print profile to zero. As soon as you put a normal value in there like the prusa defaults use then the layer height modifier doesn't work for the first layer for widths.
Just checked and you can configure it the same in SuSi and Orca.

JoanTabb, Neophyl thank you so much! It really works, and I've gained new knowledge. Do you know if there's a way to make it work in vase mode? 😉

SOLVED for Vase Mode too
