First layer and infill damage

I think this started with version 2.9.1. Three printers, one custom (Ground ball screws with Duet 2 WiFi control),  Prusa MK3 and Prusa MK3S.

All three printers ran well just a couple of weeks ago.  All of a sudden, we can't print a part to save our lives.

All settings are pretty much default.  Meaning, for troubleshooting I switched to the default definition of the Prusa printers, using Prusa filament and Prusa print settings (quality and speed variants, no difference).  For our custom printer, I used known-good definitions from Simplify 3D (the slicer we used before switching to PrusaSlicer).  In other words, nothing out of the ordinary as far as I can tell.

I've gone through calibration on all three printers.  The custom printer is using a 25 point bed leveling map with an optical probe.

I am going to revert back to 2.8.0 and see what happens.  I thought I'd post this here and see if it rings any bells.  Thanks.

Pictures below.

Video:

Things go bad about a minute into printing.  This, BTW, is the same for the custom printer and both Prusa's.  Same problem/pattern and it starts around the same spot.

The first layer test on the custom printer is basically perfect:

The infill, for lack of a better term, is being shredded...

The scalloping of the first layer is the same on both Prusa and the custom printer...

Thanks,

Well, found the problem:  Bad filament.

We've been printing spools worth of parts for two weeks on three printers.  Suddenly, they all go bad.  This coincided with updating the slicer software.  We also thought that nozzles could be worn and in need of replacement.  Well, it turned out that we happened to have three rolls (maybe more) of bad filament.

I hope this short thread serves to save someone the time we burned (days) chasing after the wrong causes.

Update: I reverted to 2.8.1 and the problem is still there.

This is both good and bad.  Good because I thought it would be very weird if this was caused by a slicer version/update.  Bad because I cannot explain how we went from "all is well", printing parts that took anywhere from 2 to 24 hours to print to not being able to get past the first few layers.

The only thing I can think of right now is to recalibrate all three printers just for a sanity check.  That's the weird part.  If one printer had problems, OK, fine, that happens.  All three at the same time?
