Feature Request: Add Z offset to Object Settings
Could there please be the option to change the z offset for each individual object?
I'm trying to create a quick calibration g-code to help me figure out the best z-offset to use.
I have 5x 10mmx10mmx0.2mm squares aligned. My intention is to add a -.020mm Z offset to the leftmost (#1) square, a -0.010mm Z offset to the next one (#2), 0mm Z offset to #3, +0.010mm to #4, and +0.020mm to #5...
But Z offset is not available to alter in the object settings. Only select things

Probably wouldn't work if you could find the control. The slicer won't let you place a part below or above the bed. Best to make 5 parts with the specific heights you want to test.
RE: Feature Request: Add Z offset to Object Settings
You can actually place parts in the z axis off the bed. You have to add an initial part which gets placed on the bed but then you can add other store files as modifiers, so right click, add modifier and select a saved store rather than one of the built in ones. These modifiers can be placed off the bed.

Yes, you can stack parts to build multi-extruder prints. Totally different use case.
RE: Feature Request: Add Z offset to Object Settings
No I don't mean multi extruder prints. I don't have multi extruder.
I am just saying that you can move a secondary stl off the build plate and have it hover in mid air if you want IF you add it to the initial one as a modifier rather than importing it in as a separate model file. Its like importing in a multipart stl with Prusa Slicer giving the option of O and P, choose O and all the parts gets placed to the bed as it treats then as separate objects or P where the arrangement comes through with their relative positions intact.

I should have written multi-color ...
