Extruder jamming and making clicking noise.
I am having an issue with loading the filament. We have been using our printer (MKS3+) for a few months with all running smoothly. Suddenly there is an issue with auto-loading the filament. I have tried cleaning the nozzle, and attempted a cold pull however when heated to 270 degrees, still no material is being extruded. It sounds as though it is being jammed above the extruder. I have just tried loosening the idler screw, which has reduced the clicking however still no material being extruded.
If anyone has any experience with this would love to hear, can provide any additional information needed.
RE: Extruder jamming and making clicking noise.
Have you disassembled the extruder and inspected the whole filament path including the PTFE tube for blockage?

RE: Extruder jamming and making clicking noise.
This has now been resolved. Yes, it was in fact the PTFE tube that was blocked, which has now been replaced and the printer running smoothly. We followed the steps at this link to replace the tube for anyone who is having a similar issue.
