Extruder clearance settings not showing anymore in sequentional printing Prusa Slicer 2.9.1
Hello,
the following issue came up from one start of PS to the next.
I wanted to use sequentional printing and checked the according box (complete indiviual objects). But the extruder clearance settings are not there anymore. Also: the boundaries one the build plate are not there anymore. Only when I slice the objects, PS tells me that they are going to collide with the printhead. (the objects are smaller than the 20mm height limit). My printer is a MK3s+ if this is relevant here.
What I tried so far:
- checking and unchecking the "complete individual objects" box.
- restarting PS.
- changing back from expert mode to basic and again to expert mode
- restarting the omputer.
- loading older projects where I know it worked perfect.
- uninstall and install PS.
My questions:
- is there a setting (except basic mode) that makes these options invisible or dissapear?
- has anyone else made this expierience?
- finally: how to fix it? 🙂
RE: Extruder clearance settings not showing anymore in sequentional printing Prusa Slicer 2.9.1
If you read the release notes the clearance values have been moved to under the extruder. Where realistically they should be.
https://github.com/prusa3d/PrusaSlicer/releases/tag/version_2.9.1-alpha1 Specifically this line "The values were moved from Print Settings to Printer Settings, as they describe the physical geometry of the printer."
The view showing you the clearance like they used to be has also been removed for some reason as part of the same update, Currently open issue about that here https://github.com/prusa3d/PrusaSlicer/issues/14240
