Ender 3 S1 Pro profile settings

I am looking at one of these but am wondering which profile to use. I think the Ender 3 S1 profile should work.

I would just need to change the max temp I think....

I just got an S1 Pro and i'm using Creality Slicer at the moment. Can't wait for a Prusaslicer profile.

Getting in on this thread hoping someone smarter than me comes up with a profile set for this printer.

My Ender 3 S1 Pro is still being shipped, but I don't have high hopes.  The settings in PrusaSlicer for the Ender 3 S1 just crash the head into the bed repeatedly 🙁

RE: Ender 3 S1 Pro profile settings

I have 2 E3S1Pros and have happily used PusaSlicer with my 3 Prusas with excellent results. I never even tried Cura with the printers and just trusted the Beta profile for the S1Pro would be OK. Print quality with it has been so-so, and I just chalked it up to being an Ender and not  a Prusa. Watching the printer lay the first layer down tonight I noticed it is acting dumb! It lays down one diagonal line and when you would expect it to make a loop and move over the .4 mm and start the next line next to it, it just goes back over what it just printed!? Then on the other side it acts right and "loops" moving over as expected. This make the whole 1st layer at least take about twice as long, not to mention creating ridges and a generally poor first layer. I'm going to move to Cura for this printer or maybe se if I can change retractions and print volume limits from a Ender 3 v2 profile and see if this goes away. I even went into prusa slicer and visualized the toolhead movements and it shows it moving correctly. At this point I think its a bug. I wonder where I should report this for Prusa?

I just sliced the same file in Creality slicer installed straight from the usb that came with the printer and it does the same stupid thing. Am I ignorant about some 1st layer operation unique to this printer? Doesn't seem right.

I'm a little late to this thread, butI have some info for people.  I have an MK2 and (2) S1's.  I did not like the S1 profile (the beta version) in the prusa slicer because it was SLOW.  Much slower print speed than the MK2.  So, I took the standard MK2 settings, made a copy, and labeled it as S1 (with MK2 settings).  The S1 prints fine with these setting and is now within about 3-5% of the speed of the MK2.  I print exclusive in PLA (both + verions and silk).  Just an FYI.

Not sure why, but manual releveling, adding G29 after the G28 in the start GCode and now the problem is gone. Weird.

Did you notice what in the profile was causing the slowness? I've had a quick look and the only place I see speed settings is on the Print Settings Tab not the Printer Settings Tab

RE: Ender 3 S1 Pro profile settings

Hi all, I have an Ender 3 and an Ender 3 S1 pro, I use prusa slicer 2.5.2 and I have problems with S1 pro, I don't understand why I can't print with prusa slicer, I'm trying everything but it doesn't work, or sometimes sometimes it doesn't work, even the same gcode created with prusa slicer sometimes prints it well and sometimes not, I don't understand what happens, the S1 pro firmware is the latest available, if I print with creality care I can do it without problems, but Cura is crap, I don't like it, I really love Prusa slicer, but if I have to I will have to use Cura by Creality, is it possible that Prusa can't find a solution? Can anyone help me understand?

Hey maurizio, have you tried what suggested above?

Ok I thought so, as soon as I finish printing I try the settings and see if it resolves. Thank you.
