Direct upload and print fails, but dragging the bgcode file to the 'physical printer' screen does (sort of)

new PC with PS2.9.0: After successfully adding my MK4S 'physical printer', I now see the 'G' icon for uploading the bgcode file directly to my printer.  However, when I try to do this, I get an 'Error uploading to print host: HTTP 401: Unauthorized' error message. I can, however, drag the bgcode file into the 'physical printer' page and it gets uploaded to the printer.  However, when I select 'Print' on the printer, I get the error message 'The G-code isn't fully compatible.  Nozzle is not high-flow.  Printer model doesn't match'

Any ideas?

Nozzle is not high-flow. Printer model doesn't match

Seems pretty clear. The nozzle type information sent in the gcode file doesn't agree with the nozzle type the printer thinks is installed.

1) Make sure you sliced with the proper printer profile that reflects the actual nozzle type on your printer.

2) Check in the hardware section of the printer's LCD menu that the correct nozzle type is selected. There was a bug in some fw version that reset it to non-HF even if HF was installed.

Printer hardware selection had 'High Flow' turned off - no idea why.

Here's the header information from the  g-code file:

GCDE B Producer=PrusaSlicer 2.9.0

Produced on=2025-03-11 at 01:19:15 UTCeàÓ! ñ

printer_model=MK4S

filament_type=PETG

filament_abrasive=0

nozzle_diameter=0.4

nozzle_high_flow=1

I figured out why I could drag/drop a G-code file but not automatically upload on my new PC - I was using my WiFi password instead of the printer password.  Once I changed that I could directly upload - yay!

However, I'm still getting the 'g-code not completely compatible' warning, and I think I tracked this down.  It turns out that when I used the 'Export Configuration Bundle with Physical Printers...' option and imported this bundle into my new PC, the printer model value/text was modified slightly.  Here are screenshots of the physical printer edit screen from the two PC's (should be identical, but aren't):

I have been printing merrily on my MK4 since I assembled the kit last August, using the configuration shown in the 'old PC' screenshot above. As can be seen, this doesn't mention the 'High Flow' feature, so that explains why the 'High Flow' option on the physical printer wasn't set.  Was the 'High Flow' nozzle shipped with MK4 kits last August?

There is still the mystery of why the 'export config bundle with physical printer' operation used the 'HF' tag (and not the 'Input Shaper' tag).  And to that end, how do I now determine which description matches the actual hardware I assembled last August?  Inquiring minds and all that 😉
