Copying model print settings, or making them universal

Is there a way to copy print settings from one model to another, or just making them print universal?

Yes you can.  Its simple. Just select the modifier you are interested in from the tree on the right and use cntrl+c (copy).  The select the object you want to copy it to from the tree and use cntrl+v (Paste).  It works for modifiers but doesn't work for variable layer heights or painted on areas as those are object specific.

I.. cringe as I say this, but... you can actually copy and paste the "Variable layer height" information from one object to another.

Sorry 🙄..

@addohm

As I am somewhat familiar with the file in question, I will tell you that you do not in this case need to "copy the model print settings" or the "Variable layer height" information. You should be able to select the Wing_5R in the sidebar Object menu, right click and select "Mirror" and choose "Along X axis" this will mirror the model on the X and all the properties painted seams and "Variable layer height" information. you will then want to select the item listed as Block in the sidebar object menu and do the same, after mirroring with Block still selected, go to the Object manipulation pane and enter 131.95 in the position for the X axis.

Hope this helps,

Swiss I specifically tried that with 2 completely different objects before posting in 2.4.2 and it just resulted in the entire object being copied so I’d be interested in how you get that copied over too.

big brain 😀  Didn't even think to mirror, was fixated on getting the "appropriate" STL added.
