Can PrusaSlicer paint Smart Fill edges in the middle of a cylinder?

New to the forum and the MMU3, hope I posted this in the right place.

I'm using an Mk4, MMu3, Blender 4.2, and PrusaSlicer 2.8.0.

I'm trying to multi color a cylinder (a hockey puck, black > yellow > black > yellow > black) and am having issue with PrusaSlicer seeing the sharp edges I've created in the middle of this cylinder for smart painting.

If I extrude the edges slightly out of the cylinder then the smart would fill see them for smart fill painting, but I'm trying to keep the cylinder smooth if possible, like you'd get with an end of layer color change with a single extruder. If I keep the sharp edges flush the smart fill won't recognize them. Is there a specific way I have to mark them in Blender to be recognized by PrusaSlicer so I can keep the cylinder completely smooth?

Thanks in advance!

Theres no way to mark them using blender tools like mark sharp etc no.  You could try making your original model a multiPART file.  You can then use the split to PARTS option in PS which preserves their relative positioning and then you can assign different extruders to the different parts.
