Can I dictate the placement of items on the print bed, pattern-wise?

I am printing "fabric". It's made up of 49 pieces of a single STL.

The replication occurs quite regularly, but the trick is the pieces overlap each other.

So, my question is, can I somehow load in 49 copies of the piece and then "auto-arrange" them so that they are correctly placed?

Or maybe there is another way besides auto arrange that I can use.

I am currently selecting each piece, then typing in the coordinates one by one. For example, one piece goes at X=100 Y=100, another piece goes at X=115 Y=100. Yet another piece goes at X=92.5 Y=107.5, etc. All the pieces end up being placed in two groups. Each group has its pieces being 15mm apart from any other piece in that group. But one group is shifted/offset by 7.5mm. I'll try to attach an image of the print bed where I placed them all manually.

49 pieces

Thanks!
